Dr. Gabriela Málková is an Associate Professor in the field of Educational Psychology and is considered one of the leading Czech experts in the development and diagnosis of literacy and language abilities. Her research primarily focuses on mapping the developmental relationships between pre-literacy, reading, and language skills. She has also long been dedicated to studying the importance of social interactions for the development of cognitive processes and learning in childhood.

Dr. Málková is the author of numerous monographs and scholarly articles published in both national and international journals. She is deeply involved in supporting applied research and is the author of diagnostic tools, intervention programs, and educational applications for use in psychological counseling practice. At Charles University, she teaches at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. In the TVP study program, she is particularly responsible for courses in developmental psychology, psychometrics, methodology, and educational psychology.
